How It All Began

Vertical software for highly regulated industries has been a particular focus of ours for years. In markets where compliance errors lead to recalls, high costs and reputational damage, software becomes an indispensable safeguard that is deeply embedded in customers’ core processes. Founded in 2001, the company has been developing verification software for highly regulated industries for more than two decades. Its proprietary deterministic technology catches every change, discrepancy or deviation, enabling pharmaceutical and medical device companies to reliably identify and eliminate critical errors. Today, the company employs around 40 people and supports both established on-premise installations and modern cloud-based applications. Long-standing customer relationships and outstanding product quality form the foundation for the next phase of growth.

Looking Ahead

The life sciences industry, led by pharma and medical devices, faces increasing regulatory requirements and the growing complexity of global packaging and labeling processes. At the same time, the pace of development is accelerating. More new approvals, more frequent updates to product information and market entries into new countries mean more variants of package leaflets, labels and artwork, and therefore more verification cycles. Together with the ongoing digitalization of regulatory workflows, these developments are driving long-term demand for powerful and, above all, reliable verification solutions.

Together with the management team, Maguar supports Schlafender Hase in its next phase of development. The focus is on expanding the international go-to-market organization, further developing the web-based platform and expanding into adjacent regulated industries. The goal is to further strengthen the company’s leading position in pharma and medical devices and to establish TVT as the “gold standard” for content verification in additional regulated markets.
