Compliance and quality management software has long been a focus sector for us. The reasons are structural: companies in regulated industries do not decide whether to maintain their management systems – without valid certification, they lose market access and customer orders. Regulatory density continues to increase: NIS2, MDR, the EU AI Act and a growing number of ISO standards are shifting compliance into the personal responsibility of executive management. At the same time, a large share of mid-sized businesses still relies on manual processes or isolated point solutions.
ConSense addresses exactly this gap. In 2003, Iris Bruns, Stephan Killich and Alexander Künzer founded the company to map ISO 9001 quality management systems in software. The platform has grown alongside its customers’ regulatory requirements: a focus on a single standard has evolved into an integrated management system that today covers a broad range of standards and regulations, making ConSense one of the leading QMS/IMS providers in the DACH region. Audit trails, linked work instructions and revision-controlled documentation make the software a central component of its customers’ management processes. Accordingly, its customer base of mostly internationally operating mid-sized companies in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, manufacturing and infrastructure is exceptionally loyal. With its cloud-native NX platform, the company has laid the technological foundation for the years ahead.
